Thank you to all our riders, volunteers and sponsors, for your incredible support and involvement since the inception of the the Humber Bridge Sportive in 2014; we have raised over £125,000 for local charities, and has been a hugely successful event thanks the amazing efforts of its founders, Ian Nicholls and Andy Cawley. For the past three years, P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery have been honoured to serve as the charity partner of the amazing Sportive event. Ian and Andy now feel it is time to pass the baton to us, entrusting us to continue their remarkable work and oversee this year's event. While they will remain involved, the team at P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery will handle the planning and execution of this year's Sportive; the funds raised from the event will benefit charities within the community, and be utilised to expand our services into North and North East Lincolnshire to offer support to more people affected by Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Friends and avid cyclists Ian Nicholls and Andy Cawley set up the Humber Bridge Sportive in 2014 with three clear aims in mind:
HBS Team
Charities we have supported in the last 5 years:
2017 - The Ellie Penrose Fund
2018 - Families Together Service, Special Stars Foundation, Cure DM CIC and Bundles of Joy
2019 - P.A.U.L. For Brain Recovery, R-evolution, Spirit of Goole and FIND3.
It has also been possible to contribute £2,000 towards the purchase of an assisted bike for Darren Smith, which will be a massive help in his recovery from a stroke.
Contributions have also been made to Hull4Heroes and Hull Women's Aid.

The 2021 edition of the Humber Bridge Cycle Sportive was sadly cancelled for the second year running, so we cycled from Morecambe to Brid to raise funds!!
